I love this artist on this book. He kills it every time. Towards the beginning you have Oliver breaking down. His younger sister, Emi, no calling herself Red Arrow does her best to talk him through it while she's on her own mission. Black Canary calls out a reporter for having the hits for her man. Once they clear the air they get to work on some investigating. The face off was pretty cool between Emi and Cheshire then Arsenal intervened. They have a nice little chat. All the while the guy Ollie is mourning is actually getting recruited by one of the bad guys. Arrow unleashes on a cavalcade of dudes that try to ambush him. It's wicked as hell but it ends up feeling like a hollow victory once you seem the staple of Seattle crumble. Phenomenal issue in every way.

Grade: STRONG BUY!!!

Trinity #9 $3.99

Story, art, colors, and cover: Francis Manapul

The Green Lanterns and Cyborg appear to be floating in space, dead. The Trinity reflects on the first story arc before they are transported to the Watchtower. They come up with a plan to revive Cyborg. Bats does detecting, Supes & WW do the fighting, then Flash arrives to get things up to speed. Then something shows up to eradicate. It looks absolutely spectacular and stunning. The paneling structure is spectacular. Even though all the characters seem stripped down to their essential characteristic it's done well and accurately but it makes them feel a bit one dimensional. Story is interesting and seems like a solid jumping on point.

Grade: BUY!!
