Starts with some guy ordering 123 cheeseburgers at a fast food joint minutes before they’re about to close. The guys make a fuss about it, he kills them with a liquid nitrogen gun. Then it changes to some lady named Glory, narrating about how things are different, how she got raised out in the country and such. Turns out there’s a guy she’s taking care of that’s ill. She tries to steal money from her ex. The job goes to hell in a hand basket when she crosses paths with mr ice gun so steals a truck instead that she thinks is loaded with drugs but instead it’s full of people. It an image comics indie series by Remender and Bengal so I’m sure it’ll be great in trade but I don’t care enough right now to keep reading. I usually give comics a two issue try though so I hope it hooks me by the second issue. It looks amazing. The dialogue is distinguished. The characters look, feel, and sound real. I’m just don’t like any of them. Here’s to hoping I do enough in the next one to keep me reading and picking it.
