It starts of with Batman and Killer Frost. Then it jumps to Black Canary attacking Killer Frost. Bats shows up, puts a stop to it. Canary hoes to recruit Lobo. Then Lobo recruits Ray Palmers protege. The new Atom gets the Ray to link up with them. Batman asks Vixen to join. It seems like a powder keg ready to blow with Lobo being the ignition but Bats puts everyone in their place, especially him. Despite multiple contributing artists it was a visually consistent piece of work. The action and fight scenes play out magnificently. Colors are superb. The only place where the art is lacking is in the faces of most of the characters. There's not much emotion or differentiation. Lobo is the only one who shows a lot of emotion consistently. On its own it doesn't stand up that well, get me hyped, or invested.
